I’m Maxim Shishkin, CEO of Globio, and my travels across the globe have profoundly shaped my worldview and inspired the creation of Globio.
Since 2014, I have lived in 37 countries with my family. Traveling and living in various countries, I’ve come to understand that the concept of “home” transcends physical boundaries. Every place I lived taught me something new and enriched my perspective. These experiences made me realize the importance of feeling connected no matter where you are.

We are a platform powered by humans, enhanced by AI. To ensure the platform provides valuable, verified content, we need to gather this content effectively. We don’t solely rely on AI because, having lived in various countries for over 10 years, we know how hard it can be to find trustworthy information. That’s why we created Units to collect information from expats and like-minded individuals who share our philosophy and vision.
